Simple Farmhouse Entry

I have a whole Pinterest board of lovely farmhouse entryways, and I hope to someday have space for hooks, bins, benches, and everything else that makes for a beautiful and functional entryway. But for now we just have this small space to work with, so we’ve kept it simple, practical, and added a touch of farmhouse charm.

Sweet antiques, lace, polka dots, pops of yellow, and this super adorable welcome mat makes this tiny farmhouse entry space feel sweet and welcoming.favorite farmhouse finds

I searched forever for a milk can at a reasonable price because I thought it would make the perfect umbrella stand.

Things I absolutely love about this space:
☆ The adorable hello doormat
☆ The milk can turned umbrella stand
☆ The waves and cracks in this old plaster wall
☆ The old painted door
☆ The yellow rain boots I bought to wear on my wedding day in case it rained (I now wear them when working outside!)

☆ The polka dot curtains with lace tie backs that my grandma helped me make when we first moved into the house
☆ This sweet little rug beater I couldn’t help but fall in love with at a flea market

Things we’ll be changing in the future:
☆ That crooked lightswitch—we can’t even figure out what it goes to!
☆ The stick on tile floor
☆ The thin door trim that doesn’t match the rest of the house

But for now, I’m so happy with this simple little space. A place to say hello to the world when I leave for the day and a place to welcome me home when I return.
