A giant cast iron sink, wood floors, an adorable island, and beadboard all around. These are my dreams for our farmhouse kitchen, but I would be lying if I said it wasn’t already pretty dang charming. Even with all of its quirks (like mismatched countertops on the same counter!), our kitchen is one of my favorite rooms in the house. We added some farmhouse kitchen decor to make it feel more like the farmhouse kitchen of our dreams. Here are some of my favorites and some that I’ve picked up for our farmhouse kitchen. Mason jar utensil holder
Ceramic berry basket
Cow creamer
Mason jar salt & pepper shakers
Bread box
Wire basket
Cow butter dish
Coffee, tea & sugar canisters
Mason jar soap dispenser
This breadbox was a flea market purchase and one of the first items I bought for the house. It holds our coffee supplies.
This basket is perfect for storing kitchen towels!
These antique bottles were the very first things I purchased for our farmhouse. I knew they’d be the inspiration for our farmhouse kitchen remodel someday. I purchased an adorable farmhouse canvas print at a country store to cover up the vent hole in the chimney. Works like a charm!
Farmhouse dishes look right at home in front of our beadboard!
Although the whole room makeover will have to wait, these farmhouse touches I’ve added have made it feel like home already. I’ll still be dreaming of a big cast iron sink though!

Oh, it’s all just darling! I love and have a collection of aqua bottles. My home is not a farmhouse, but I have added bits of farmhouse anyway. :) Does it count that it is built on the Old McDaniel Farm property? I love the color of that roaster pan. Do you know who it is made by? Also love the canvas print! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Jann
Thank you, Jann! I think any home can be a farmhouse with the right touches of charm and history (like our bottle collections!) :) Can you believe the pot is from IKEA? It’s my favorite!
Meg, It’s so nice to find kindred spirits. I love the farmhouse look too and always try to find the little things that add just the right farmhouse look. Thanks for some great ideas.
Thanks, Carol! Adding just a few touches of farmhouse charm has really transformed our kitchen :)

What an amazing product to have found! I used to yearn for this, back in the days when I occasionally wore strapless dresses and scoop-necked blouses that were just begging to show off my straps. See you over on Scott’s site! I hope he won’t disappoint.
Love everything, but those antique bottles are my favorite!
Adorbs!! :)
