Scenes of Summer

I loved every minute of our second summer in our farmhouse. I am always sad to see summer fade away. I crave the warmth and brightness it brings to us each year. I’d walk around in a little bubble of summer all year round if I could! This year brought us wildflower surprises, gave us amazing summer storms, and showed us the beauty of a sea full of golden wheat. I’m already looking forward to what next summer brings!

My sweet Maisie is one of my favorite finds from Antique Farm House (aff. link) and she looks right at home among our daisies.

Farmhouse Front Doors: Our New Look

Our farmhouse is looking a little more dignified lately because we took off the ugly aluminum storm doors and replaced the mismatched doors with ones that actually matched!

Catching Up

After two and a half years of stress and hard work, I have graduated with my master’s degree! This semester was my busiest ever, so I didn’t have time to do as many projects on the house as I wanted. Now that I’m done, I have lots of things to start working on!

The past few years have been the most hectic of my life, so I’m also looking forward to slowing down and relaxing a bit. This place is so peaceful, and each day I feel thankful to be able to experience it.
