Farmhouse Style Powder Room Inspiration

Thank you to Craft House Designs for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own. May contain affiliate links.

I’ll let you guys in on a secret. Our bathroom is ugly. No amount of scrubbing can make up for dingy beige tiles, a broken medicine cabinet, and an old laminate vanity. We’re way overdue for a refresh, and I’m working with Craft House Designs today to share my favorite inspiration pieces for our bathroom renovation!

Just getting rid of the dingy square tiles will make a huge difference in this room. The vanity can stay (for now), but the fake printed-on wood grain looks pretty terrible up close. I’d love to paint it a mint or green color like this beautiful green vanity. Our wish list also includes a new mirror (goodbye broken medicine cabinet!), an antique style soap dish, and a few pieces of farmhouse style organizational decor. I especially love this galvanized divided organizer and this rustic green wall pocket.

Here’s a quick peek at the sad little room we hope to transform into a light, bright farmhouse style powder room:
UPDATE: Here’s a few sneak peek photos of our budget weekend bathroom remodel!
Farmhouse organizer for a farmhouse style powder roomSince we no longer have a medicine cabinet, this adorable green wall pocket will hold some of our most used products such as makeup, hair gel, and toothpaste. It’s so handy, and it’d be a great addition to a kitchen or entryway as well.
Mint soap holder for a farmhouse style powder roomAnd I’m pretty sure our new mint enamel soap dish is officially the most adorable thing in our house (excluding our furballs of course). Even if you’re not a big user of bar soap, one of these soap dishes could hold some of your everyday makeup or a contact lens case. It would also make a perfect sponge holder above the kitchen sink. I even had someone comment on Instagram that they have one in their entryway to store their keys. I’m sure there are tons of other creative uses and at under $10, it’s definitely hard to pass up!

  1. I look forward to your bathroom update pictures. I am getting ready to post my farmhouse bathroom reno soon too. I bet my very old (over 100 yrs) farmhouse bathroom was WAY more nasty than your bathroom. LOL.

I have the same soap dish, but in white. It is so cute. Now i think I am going to have to order that green wall pocket for my dining nook.

    1. I can’t wait to see your reno, Tonita! It’s such an amazing feeling to have a clean and beautiful bathroom instead of a sad little gross one! I almost cried tear of joy when we got finished haha

  2. You’re off to a great start. Love the wall pocket and soap dish! I can’t believe that green vanity is from Home Depot, love it!! Thanks for sharing with SYC. I’m sure it’s not intentional, but I’m not seeing a link back to the party.
    hugs,
    Jann

  3. So cute and exactly what I’ve been looking for! Could you give me any information about the curtains? I have been looking for some just like that for a bathroom about the same size as yours.
